POLAR OPPOSITES

Bronze Polar Bear Sculpture

Edition of 35

11" tall x 10" wide x 5” deep, black granite base

I chose this name because of the tiny penguin, hiding behind the iceberg, who lives at the opposite pole from the bear. While some have interpreted this piece as a statement of global warming, it is not. It is a whimsical piece showing my first attempt to sculpt water, ice, and currents. The little penguin is simply in the wrong place at the wrong time!
